 Couture At The College

What a magnificent night of quality entertainment at Crumlin Integrated College’s Vintage Fashion extravaganza. The 1951 Reilly RMA parked at the school gates greeted guests as they arrived. Retro albums of a bygone era adorned the walls of the hall. Psychedelic pop art and colour flooded the rooms and the vintage style seated supper was a delight of culinary excellence all skilfully prepared by astonishing volunteers who buzzed away all day to provide an array of tantalising and tasty titbits for everyone. The charitable event was planned and orchestrated to raise much needed funds for Cystic Fibrosis – A fight We Must Win. The charity was represented by Linda Alexander who had kindly donated a vintage gold coloured dress from the 70’s which had been a wedding dress for her Aunt.

The fun and festivities realised an amazing £2532 for the Cystic Fibrosis charity and it’s fair to say that the College achieved an incredible feat by facilitating and arranging the Fashion Show and creating a memorable and at times moving gala performance for participants and observers alike.
