A Spooktacular Hallowe'en Treat

October ended in a very “frightening” manner when pupils and staff donned in their best fancy dress costumes turned Crumlin Integrated College into a scene from Michael Jackson’s Thriller. As DJ Dave spun the decks the whole school ‘rocked the boat’ and did a fantastic electric slide.  A sight not to be missed!

Awards for the best costume went to Beth McGann, our fire fighting hero, with second place going to David Graham, another pupil whose job it was to serve and protect.  Finally, the Afro King himself, Gary Monaghan, was awarded third place.

Earlier in the day, pupils from Years 8 and 9 took part in a Pumpkin Carving competition in the Home Economics room where everyone was in for a Spooktacular treat when Mr Smyth, Miss Connolly and Mrs Hancock give a demonstration of the time warp. The winner for best pumpkin carver, judged by our very own “Gordon Ramsey”, was Nicole Orford, with the runners up being, Ryan Mc Dowell and Rhiannon Morgan.

Well done to everyone who took part in the fun-filled activities. We all had a fantastic day!
