CIC Promotes ‘Harmony’
The Northern Ireland Council for Integrated Education (NICIE) warmly invited 4 pupils from the College to celebrate and participate in an interactive workshop hosted in the Long Gallery, Stormont. Ellie Whalley, Mary-Kate McVeigh, Shane O Brien, and James Skidmore participated in a youth led workshop, exploring the theme of harmony through music, drama and movement. The activities were designed for the participation and enjoyment of all young people attending the event from different integrated schools. This year’s theme of ‘Harmony’ had been explored in our school in a number of lessons throughout the week. This provided our pupils with the opportunity to discuss and compare how the theme was delivered in other schools. Those attending the event were entertained by an excellent interactive performance by the entire student body which drew the morning to a fitting close.
