Crumlin Integrated praises ‘Outstanding’ GCSE resultsStaff at Crumlin Integrated College have expressed their ‘absolute delight’ at the ‘outstanding’ GCSE results achieved by their former Year 12 pupils.Top performers included Megan Hill, with an impressive nine GCSEs at grade C and higher, Tammy-Lee Davis, Gary McCartan, Gemma Orford, Amy Taylor, Nicole Wardle, Chelsea Marsh, Daniel McCafferty and Sarah McDonnell – who all achieved eight GCSEs at grade C and above.Excellent results of A* to C were attained across a range of subjects, particularly in Music (100 %), Double Award Science (100%), History (89.3%), Single Award Science (88.9 %) and Child Development6 (83.3%).The standards achieved by pupils have improved significantly from 2010/11. The percentage of pupils attaining five or more GCSE examinations at grades A*-C has risen from 39% to 52% and the percentage in any five subjects, when English and Maths are included, has risen from 20% to 30%.
