Sports Day 2017

Our annual Sports Day took place, this year, on Wed 23rd June. There was much excitement among the competitors as they sought success in a full range of track and field events, with many participants showing real talent for the task at hand.

Open Night Success

Macmillan Coffee Morning 2014

At the end of September, the Year 12 Prefects and Home Economics teacher, Mrs McCabe, came together and held a coffee morning full of sumptuous cookies, cakes and buns.  This was to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Year 8 Visit Bushmills

At the end of September, our Year 8 pupils, along with two members of staff, Mr Jamieson and Miss McGookin, attended a three day Integration trip to the Bushmills Residential Centre.

The Crumlinwealth Games

On Wednesday 11th June 169 children from Straidhaven P.S. Crumlin Integrated P.S, Lower Ballinderry P.S. & St Joseph’s P.S. (Crumlin), attended the ‘Crumlinwealth Games’ day at Crumlin Integrated College.

Class of 2014 Leavers' Assembly

On Wednesday 14th May, Year 12 pupils, staff and parents gathered in the assembly hall to say, “Farewell” and share some of their memories of the last 5 years.

Meeting with Stormont Education Committee

Representatives from the College met with the Education Committee in Stormont to deliver powerful and passionate speeches in support of a shared management school in Crumlin.

Danny Kinahan MLA, education spokesman for the Ulster Unionist Party, has presented a petition containing over 1,000 signatures at Stormont- calling for the establishment of shared secondary school in Crumlin, South Antrim.

STEM and Creativity Visits

Recently we hosted two STEM and Creativity mornings for the P7 pupils of local primary schools. The pupils experienced a circus of four different STEM or creative activities.

Gingerbread House Club

The Home Economics room become a hive of activity after school on Thursdays for five weeks in the run up to Christmas.  Eighteen pupils enrolled to experience some Christmas Cookery which developed into the Gingerbread House Club.

Year 12 Students Attend a Winter Wonderland Reception

The Year 12 Formal, which has become somewhat of a tradition here at Crumlin Integrated College, was held on Wednesday 4th December at Galgorm Resort and Spa.
