GCSE Pupils Visit the True Art Exhibition
On Wednesday 23rd January Year 11 and 12 GCSE art students were invited to the True Colours exhibition in the Ulster Museum. This exhibition celebrates the best of 2012 GCSE Art and Design examination work from some of Northern Ireland’s most talented young artists and designers. Twenty students and two staff, Mrs Aitken and Mr Nesbitt, travelled by coach from Crumlin to Belfast - luckily the snow from previous days had cleared ensuring a safe journey!
The pupils were enthralled by such a variety of work, from intricate paintings, to innovative sculptures and daring fashion design. The ‘True Colours’ exhibition revealed the high calibre of creative work produced by the candidates.
