Laser Lunacy

Recently the cast of the Kobosh Theatre Company entertained the staff and pupils with their play, “Laser Lunacy” which highlighted the dangers and consequences of laser pointer misuse – particularly when pointed at aircraft. The Senior Leader, Mrs McGarry, said that it was a wonderful performance, which was thought provoking and of great educational value to staff and pupils. The question and answer session at the end reinforced the message and outlined the consequences of this dangerous activity.Thank you to the members of the cast from Kobosh Theatre Company for an excellent performance and to Belfast International Airport for sponsoring the event.A Year 10 pupil commented, “I enjoyed the play and liked the props the actors used. I thought that their performance was awesome. I learned that laser pens are not harmless toys but are in fact very powerful, dangerous and illegal to play with.”
