Pupils Shortlisted for Antrim Youth Awards

We were delighted to hear that Sophie Ross, James McFarland , and Curtis Ferguson were shortlisted for the Antrim Borough Council Youth Awards. The Awards are presented to young people who are dedicated to their own personal development and also keen to pass on their skills to others.
Sophie received a certificate for being shortlisted and has really developed as a person through her campaigning to save the school stating that, “My passion for integrated education and the positive impact it has had on my life drove me to set up the petition, the Facebook page, and write the speech that I gave to the Education Committee at Stormont. Integrated Education is the way forward for Northern Ireland if you want sustained social and economic progress.”
