Raising Money for Macmillan Cancer

On Tuesday 27th September, we held our annual coffee morning in support of Macmillan Cancer. Staff, pupils and friends of the College participated in the event by supplying the gorgeous spread and also through donations on the day. As always it was a great success.

Thank you to Raymond Mc Comb who put his body on the line for the penalty shoot-out, the winner of which was Jack Gray who entered into a sudden death penalty shoot-out against Jack Fusco and Kai Galloway to claim the title. Thank you also to Mr Acheson, Mr Armstrong, Miss McGookan and Mrs McEvoy for daring to “get soaked”. The “Guess the number of sweeties in the jar” was won by Stephen Bishop, who guessed 1700 the closest number to the actual 1661 that was in the jar.

A great day was had by all, and we raised an amazing £351.00 for a fantastic cause - a fantastic achievement for such a small school.
