Raising Money for Macmillan Cancer

On Friday 6th October, CIC held its annual coffee morning in support of Macmillan Cancer. Staff, pupils and friends of the College participated in the event by supplying the gorgeous spread and also through donations on the day. As always it was a great success. This year’s theme was “Casual Friday” so we asked all students to “wear green for Macmillan”. The school was a sea of green which raised valuable funds for the charity.

The “Guess the number of sweeties in the jar” was won by Jack Fusco who guessed a near spot on of 395 the closest number to the actual 394 that was in the jar.

A great day was had by all, and we raised an amazing £382.00 for a fantastic cause - a fantastic achievement for such a small school. Well done to everyone involved.
