Sharing Inspection Success

ETI had an opportunity last week to share in the progress of our unique Shared Education project involving all the Crumlin Schools: Gaelscoil Ghleann Darach, St Josephs, Crumlin Integrated Primary and Crumlin Integrated College. ETI spoke with children and staff involved in the project and were very positive about the development of the project in such a short period of time. “Our strategic leadership in Shared education has ensured pupils from Crumlin have extended opportunities to develop relationships across the schools, deepen their knowledge about their local environment and develop a caring approach to Crumlin for the benefit of all. We were delighted that the energy and enthusiasm of the project was recognised,” the Principals said in their statement on the visit. All schools were delighted with the feedback received and had an opportunity to share the vision for Shared Education and are committed to expanding opportunities to increase collaboration in Crumlin and to increase involvement of the community to continue to ensure our children learn and live together and build community bonds for the future. Coordinators were thrilled that their enthusiasm was highlighted and how the project has progressed over the course of the year. “The pupils were very enthusiastic and made the collaboration such a success. We hope as we come together to build lasting relationships among our pupils that this will have a impact on community relations in the near future and beyond.”
