State of the Art Leisure Centre Sparks Interest From Crumlin Pupils
Pupils of the school were delighted to be invited to attend the opening ceremony of the new Leisure Centre in Crumlin which was opened by the Mayor of Antrim. The school is already forging links with the centre and Year Eight and Year Nine pupils are very much looking forward to using the 4G pitches, new dance studios and maybe a game of badminton.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the college and the community of Crumlin. One of our Year 10 pupils, Jason Haylock, was invited, along with pupils from St Joseph’s Primary School, Crumlin Integrated Primary School and the Gaelscoil Ghlenn Darach, to address the audience and unveil the plaque along with the Mayor. Jason reflected,
“The new Crumlin Leisure Centre is amazingly big. I went outside and played football on one of the new 4G pitches. I also walked around the centre to discover more activities to do and had my picture taken when the Mayor of Antrim officially opened the leisure centre.
