True Colours GCSE Art and Design Trip

True Colours is very much a fixture in our art educational calendar. It is both a celebration of the excellent art and design work from many schools and an opportunity for our GCSE Art and Design pupils to see what it takes to make the top grades.  In January, Year 11 and 12 GCSE artists accompanied Mrs. Aitken and Mr. Nesbitt to the Ulster Museum in Belfast which hosted the exhibition and showcased some of the best and most interesting artwork created by students from CCEA’s summer 2014 A level and GCSE level examinations. Almost 70 young artists had their work on show varying from fine art and design work to innovative sculptures and animation, this event was a feast for our eyes! Our pupils were truly inspired and returned to school ready to embark on the final externally set theme  of ‘My Space’ for their exam.
