Year 8 Pupils from Crumlin Integrated College go GAA GAA

On a Wednesday afternoon during PE the Year 8 pupils have had local coach and player Stephen McCullagh teaching them the basic skills and rules of Gaelic Football. The boys and girls in the class have been enthusiastic and thoroughly enjoyed the sessions, with some having joined one of the local clubs. The aim of this 10 week programme is to develop and expand the PE curriculum offered at CIC, to give every pupil the opportunity to engage in a truly integrated education. The pupils are looking forward to the next 4 weeks of Gaelic and the possibility of a tournament at the end of the unit of work.
